Hospice For Utah would like to publish some of the very heartfelt thank you notes we have received over the years. Our purpose is to make a difference and feel these sentiments represent some of the difference we have made.

You came into a house of sad goodbyes. How does a daughter thank unknown women for easing the burdens of care and lightening the sad hearts and lifting the spirits of the home to one of smiles, memories, laughter, roses, music, and most of all love in the loss of a mother. The words of thank you will have to do but your works and spirit will live with me and my family for life times to come. May God bless each of you in your own lives to receive the desires of your hearts as you serve others. -M.C.

Thank you for all you did to help my father and my family during the last couple of weeks of his life. It was amazing how quickly you jumped in and made everyone feel comfortable, relieved, and at peace. I truly feel it takes a special individual to work with the family of someone who is ready to pass from this life to the next. Thank you for your sensitivity, kindness, and expertise. -B.N

Keep up the wonderful service you are providing. Kudos in particular to Ms. Kelly for her caring and warm visits! Also to Ms Ann for the beautiful harp music. Our entire family was so pleased with the service that you gave to our dad and to each of us. My dad enjoyed your visits and it gave us some peace of mind knowing how well you cared for him. Your staff was confident, thoughtful, kind and very loving to our Mom. When we couldn’t be there or take care of her needs, you took care of her. I especially liked that  the assisted living center called hospice first when there was an IR. It made answering the phone less stressful than being called by the assisted living and trying to get them to make a decision.-M.G.

The woman who cared for Mom bathed her, cleaned her, was spectacular! So much compassion. Lisa and Heather were very kind.-C.P.

I was so happy with everything hospice did for both of my parents. We could not have kept them home their final days had it not been for hospice. They were able to die at home which they both wanted. We are so grateful for hospice and everyone. They are angels. Thank you! We brag about you guys to everyone.-N. W..

All I can say, that your staff at hospice is such a great program and I thank God it was there for us. I think you folks do a fantastic job with the patients and loved ones. You folks have a fantastic staff, that care about their patients and take time with the families to explain everything to you. And the support and love that they show is just so fantastic. How can you beat perfection? I can't think of one negative. We loved all concerned. The nurses and aides were lifesavers in our sea of emotion. How we looked forward to each visit. They answered all our questions and concerns. They told us what to expect and how to deal with each phase. We thank all of you.

Canyon Creek recommended for some time that dad be put on Hospice. We were reluctant to do so as it did not seem that death was imminent. I wish we had understood what Hospice could do for us!

Simple words cannot completely express how deeply we appreciate all you did for my wife and our mother. You all showed true compassion and kindness for her and her situation. Amanda was incredible and mom loved her. Maryann was equally so and took such good care of her. And on the day she died, Maryann helped us so much. Thank you for your efforts to make the last few days of my father's life more comfortable. I fully expected him to linger much longer but fortunately his suffering was cut short.
